Well now I really miss pre-Musk Twitter. My feed was all shit like this, friends and strangers posting out-of-context thoughts.

I hope OC clears this up because my understanding is that’s the Spanish equivalent of the n word
I didn’t mean it was lower quality! I’m saying a lot of things we praise were due to budget limitations. The show looks awesome
Check out the Corridor Crew episode on it. A lot of what we love was actually due to budget limitations! Like the super detailed backgrounds are digital paintings as opposed to being fully 3d.
They cut a LOT of corners but not in a bad way. Limitation breeds creativity and Riot absolutely nailed it
Based on the quality of the rest of it, I’m leaning it’s not a marketing move lol
I wouldn’t watch it even if the trailer was really good but…I’m gonna shit on it for looking awful, not being targeted towards adults. That opening green screen shot looks AWFUL. I said in another thread it reminds me of those old car commercial edits with the Mark guy. The perspectives of the camera vs the background don’t seem to fit
Don’t remember who (and I’m not about to watch it again) but doesn’t someone also say “what the hell” at some point?
Wouldn’t that just give you the default slop on the homepage?
I wouldn’t feel bad about disliking a video unless it has like 50 views. It’s just a blip in the sea of reactions
Can’t help ya there. Can you at least dislike a video on the AppleTV app?
I think if you sub then unsub it resets that block if you do it by mistake
I have my doubts that this guy even knows how to open Excel…
It might take some time but if you don’t want to start fresh with a new account, mark everything you don’t want as Not Interested as they pop up until your feed is clean! It’s worth the effort imo
2024-08-28?? How am I supposed to know if that means the 28th of August in the year 2024 or the 2024th day of '28???
I filed my first complaint against a coworker for arguing with me about ISO standards. I’m an AV engineer and use YYYY-MM-DD for my print sets which he found “confusing” because most fools write M-D-YY. I told him I got approval to do it that way and it might even become mandatory (true) but he wouldn’t drop it. He sarcastically told me I should teach a class on date formats because I think I’m so smart.
We’re an international company and I’m gonna keep using the international standard for dates, douchebag.
Yeah, with a small amount of effort you can really make your YouTube feed work for you. I have a main account full of engineering, computers, and misc entertainment (sketch comedy channels + Atrioc) and a separate one for my work laptop that’s just music. Both feeds are pretty fantastic but the recommendations on latter is especially good - I’ve found a ton of new artists including some with only a few hundred followers (shout out to folk singer Alexander Guy!)

Enjoy your tailored feed with only stuff you want to see!
My YouTube algorithm is fantastic. I never see politics because if I want to watch a political video, I open it in a private window
Post-covid daze. When I say “3 years ago” I might mean 2021 or 2019, who knows!
I feel like Cobalt Core did it pretty well for an indie game…not nearly on the same level as Hades but each win unlocks a memory from a character and the story is slowly revealed. Once you see all the memories, you get a final mission (that I will not spoil here). Narrative elements progress during runs, too.
It’s kinda just lore like you describe so I might be giving it too much credit but I really liked the way it unfolds and wasn’t expecting the “twists” as you find out the real motivations of each crew mate. It’s also a really fun game
Didn’t DF kind of get rid of borrowed power model? I assumed the Hero Talents were just the extension of the talent tree and would be added to next expansion, not something that would be removed in 2 years. They’re still just talent points
I had to look up who that was.
I’d bet if they actually surveyed gamers, you’d see more people jokingly submitting “John Halo” than Sam Fisher
