the fediverse is young, and still incorporating itself into something awesome… something more structured. in the meantime, ive found myself falling backwards into some amazing conversations with clearly very intelligent people.

just to turn the car on? stick it neutral, push in the break and clutch (my modern requires both) and turn it on.

the break and clutch being pushed is just to trigger their switches as a form of safety control that the ignition requires. once the car is started they dont need to be engaged

i cant imagine its worse than the crow reboot. i could barely get through the trailer. even borderlands was tolerable.

you completely missed the point. its not about any of the things you mentioned.

so, i just stopped going directly to youtube and switched to doomscrolling a meme-excessive feed [for humor]. youtube still pops up in fediverse feeds, and i will watch some things from there, but i’m not going directly to the domain.

ive never really appreciated video on the web. i prefer to stream locally. the few youtube videos i want (usually obscure vhs copies of old shit), i have my kid download into out media center.

this is radical suggestion, but maybe dont use youtube? its working for me.
